Quickstart CLI is a command line tool for scaffolding projects. The local CLI does not need analytics, accounts, or tracking to create projects from templates.
The CLI may store environment profile values on your machine so future scaffolding prompts can be prefilled. These values can include company, author, client, database, and package configuration.
When templates are installed, npm may contact the configured public or private package registry. Registry providers may process request metadata under their own policies.
Local profile data remains until you delete or overwrite it. Generated projects, package lock files, and git history are controlled by you and your team.
